Situated on the waterfront in the vibrant neighborhood of Dumbo, Smack Mellon offers a truly unique venue for private parties and corporate events. The building is across the street from the picturesque Brooklyn Bridge Park between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges with breathtaking views of the City skyline.
Consider the Dramatic Architecture:
Located in the recently renovated “Boiler Building”, Smack Mellon’s gallery is an especially exciting space with tremendous architectural elements. The 6,000 square foot gallery boasts a ceiling that soars to 35 feet. There are 25 windows on two levels providing beautiful light and a spectacular view of Manhattan and the East River.
Current legal capacity is 74 people, including all event staff. In 2012, the legal capacity may be 250 people standing (150 seated). More confirmed details will be available by December 2011. Currently we are only renting for 74 person private parties.

A built-in soundsystem, dimmable lights, a prep area with an electric stove, sink and refrigerators.

Smack Mellon is just one subway stop from Manhattan with easy access to the BQE, Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges and ample parking in nearby garages. The building is handicap accessible.
